Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) for Knees, Full Body Tune Up, and Back

** Pre-registration is required for YBR classes and workshops **

Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is a restorative practice that liberates movement, heals injury, and protects your joints and spine from wear and tear. YBR uses custom inflatable balls to function like a massage therapist’s hands. They provide strategic traction and pressure to iron out tension and pain. With just a few minutes of rolling, you can avoid the old-age restrictions that so many people have. Most people find YBR feels similar to a relaxing, deep tissue massage. Individuals can adapt the pressure to personal preference, while using the balls in a chair, in bed, or on a wall or floor space. Having a YBR self-care practice brings relaxation, renewed energy, and a better understanding of how to sustain your body in alignment, freedom, and ease.

Sacred Women's Circle

From the beginning of time women have always circled. In the ancient tradition of moon lodges and red tents, this time together can serve to enliven the deepest parts of ourselves and enrich our communities. A sacred woman's circle is a container for speaking our truths and witnessing one another with compassion as new insights begin to stir from the deepest parts of ourselves. This gathering will serve as an intimate time of sharing for women in all phases of life.

Women's Yoga Therapy Group

Yoga Therapy combines the ancient wisdom of yoga, pranayama, meditation, and the synergy of group process to enhance emotional well-being. The philosophy and practice of yoga offers guidelines for healthy living that are invaluable. Sharing your challenges while giving and receiving heart-felt feedback and insight with others supports connection and gives encouragement to work though difficult issues.

For the winter through spring 2017 series, we will learn the ancient Indian practice of mudras, yoga for your hands. Fingers are associated with various elements and chakras. Moving and touching hands and fingers in precise ways enhance the flow of prana (life force energy), and each mudra addresses different physical, emotional and/or spiritual aspects to well-being.
