Essential Oils Make and Take Workshops

The word doTERRA means “gift of the earth” and these workshops will provide an opportunity for anyone who’s interested to experience and learn about these Certified, Pure, Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) oils. doTERRA oils and products can make our lives healthier and happier and empower us to be our best selves!

We’ll learn about the following:

April 6: How can the doTERRA Essential Oils help me with my every day health concerns and issues? Participants will make a rollerball to help them with a particular health need.

May 4: How can doTERRA Essential Oils help me with my emotions? Participants will sample various oils to help enhance emotional health and make a sample oil from the doTERRA Emotional Aromatherapy Collection to take home.

June 1: How can I cook with doTERRA Essential Oils? Participant will be treated to a light lunch made with doTERRA Essential Oils and go home with some recipes and a sample of a salt made with essential oils.

Each of these workshops are $15 to cover the cost of supplies. Participants are encouraged to invite and bring friends and enjoy a fun time of learning together!

Strengthening to Attain
Transitions in Yoga Flows

 

April 13: Core Strengthening

Incorporate Pranayama, Mindfulness practices and Visualization along with core strengthening poses to practice mastering stepping from Downward Facing Dog into High Runner's Lunge for a smoother transition in your yoga flows.

May 11: Arm Strengthening

Use Pranayama, Mindfulness practices and Visualization along with arm strengthening poses to practice mastering Knees, Chest and Chin and Chatauranga for a smoother transition in your yoga flows.

June 8: Enhancing Awareness of the Koshas:
Body, Energy and Mind Sheaths

Use the core and arm strength you've developed through the series to take flight in your flows by working toward mastering Jumping Forward and Jumping Back. Using principles offered through the Koshas, we will focus specifically on Annamaya Kosha (Physical Sheath), Pranamaya Kosha (Vital Energy Sheath) and Manomaya Kosha (Mental Body) and using those layers of being to help you attain smoother transitions in your yoga flows.

Wild Feminine Book Study

Join Abbey Brewer, E-RYT 500, LMT & Elizabeth Ereddia, LMT, Herbalist as we delve into the work of Tami Kent and her groundbreaking book on women's health "Wild Feminine". Tami is a pelvic floor physical therapist who has shifted the paradigm in understanding not only anatomical connections in relation to all aspects of ourselves, but how to heal, grow and educate based on the wild feminine within every woman. This event is free and open to all women. Please bring your book and open mind. Donations to the yoga center are graciously appreciated, but not expected.

Beyond Asana Book Study


Join us the first Thursday of each month from noon until 1:30 pm for a yoga philosophy book study and discussion. More in-depth study of yoga philosophy helps us integrate and incorporate the wonderful teachings of yoga throughout our lives.

We are currently studying Embodied Enlightenment: Living Your Awakening in Every Moment by Amoda Maa Jeevan.
