Yoga Biomechanics

Do you have pain in your back, neck, hips, shoulders, or feet?

Align and balance the body with biomechanics, which can heal as well as prevent injuries! Increase awareness of alignment and movement patterns, healthy joint loading for bone health, and joint stabilization. Bev will teach us how to integrate these with our yoga asanas to avoid injuries and misalignments. She will review and address new applications of biomechanics for yoga in each workshop.

The 2nd Saturday of each month:
December 8, 3-5 pm
$40 in advance
$45 at the door

All parts are led by Bev Stegman

The Yin and Yang of Mindfulness
and Self-Compassion

Self-Compassion has been proven to lead to increased well-being in health, relationships, resilience, and life-satisfaction, as well as less anxiety and depression. We will practice self-compassion through gentle yoga, mindfulness meditation, journaling, and sharing with one another from Yin and Yang perspectives…

Yin – more nurturing approaches such as soothing and validating Yang – more action approaches such as protecting, providing and motivating.

All are welcome!

Love Yourself All Else Will Follow

It’s easy to love other people, but what stops us from truly loving ourselves? Most of us dismiss the idea as self-centered, or we’re too busy taking care of other people to give it much thought.

As taught in A Course in Miracles, an extraordinary life awaits those willing to love themselves. By sharing her own extraordinary story, Shawna teaches that when we love ourselves enough to heal, we can overcome addiction, divorce, low self-esteem, or any other challenge life throws our way.

In this one-hour workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How messages we received growing up skewed our sense of self, and how listening to the ego reinforces a negative self-perception.
  • Why loving yourself changes completely the lens in which you view the world, thereby attracting a more loving and peaceful experience.
  • Why forgiving yourself and others is the fastest route to inner peace.
  • How to trust your inner voice when choosing your life’s work and making decisions.

Saturday, February 16
1:00 - 2:00 pm

Led by Shawna Rae, writer, spiritual empath, and student of A Course In Miracles. Shawna Rae is writer, spiritual empath, and student of A Course in Miracles. Since having a spiritual breakthrough fifteen years earlier, she has been guided by a voice within, exhorting her to love herself unconditionally. This love of self has manifested in every area of her life, including in the healing of relationships and recovery from addiction

Beyond Asana Book Study
